The mailing lists are designed to facilitate communications
between rule filing agencies and the recipients of the filings,
i.e., LSC, JCARR, Secretary of State. They serve as a communication
forum between the agencies on matters such as processes and procedures
for public hearings, rule drafting manuals, etc.
The mailing lists replace hard copy communications between the
different entities and provide timely dissemination of pertinent
information to all affected parties. For instance, when a new
LSC rule drafting manual or JCARR procedures manual is issued,
the mailing lists serve as an ideal tool for informing all filers
of the changes simultaneously.
Two lists are provided. The first, filers, is intended for all
filers with the exception of those staff of state colleges and
universities. The second list, edu-filers, is intended for the
staff of state colleges and universities.
