Uploading Public Hearing Notices

When uploading a public hearing notice, you'll now be required to specify the date, time, and location of the hearing. The ERF system will prevent you from inputting a date that occurs in the past. Otherwise, no other checking is performed.

Verifying Public Hearing Date, Time and Location
=====================================================
The package list screen will display the date and time you've entered. This information appears in the green bar containing the text "Associated Public Hearing Notice". If the information is incorrect and the rule's status is "Not Filed", you'll need to remove the public hearing notice and upload it again. When uploading it, you'll re-enter the date, time and location of the hearing.

Rules Containing Images
==========================
All rules containing images need to be uploaded as .zip files not .xml. Why? Because the .zip file has "packaged" the .xml and the graphics together. If the .xml file alone is uploaded to the ERF system, the rule will print/view without the graphics.

The ERF system will now check all .xml files for the presence of a graphic. If it finds a graphic tag, it will not upload the .xml file. Instead, you'll see a message instructing you to upload the .zip version.
