As of June 1, 2002, we'll be making a minor change to the filename scheme used for the .xml files on the rule download site (http://www.registerofohio.state.oh.us/RuleRequest/jsps/SearchRuleRepository.jsp).

The filenames will now include the effective date of the rule. This will assist you in identifying whether or not the rule on the download site is the most current version. This will be particularily helpful in those situations where you final file one month and need to download the rule for amendment the following month.

Examples of the filenames

Style used for rules prepared prior to June 1, 2002:
Rule# 3307:2-6-02 - there is no indication of the rule's effective date

Style used for rules prepared after June 1, 2002:
Rule# 3307:2-6-02_eff_9_17_01 - this indicates the rule was effective on Sept. 17, 2001

NOTE: It's possible to see both styles for the same rule number. When this happens, please download the one with the effective date in the filename.
