Greetings:

LSC is pleased to announce the upcoming release of a new and improved version of the Rule Authoring System (RAS) software. Significant enhancements in the new version include promoting and demoting of levels; merging and splitting of levels; right mouse clicks to access menus instead of "Clippy"; no longer possible to strike single letters or parts of words; manual insertion of page breaks; and context-sensitive menu options.

For an overview of the new features, installation instructions, and distribution plans, you are cordially invited to attend a free demonstration session.

Who:
1) Anyone using RAS to draft rules, RSFA Pt. B's, the Environmental Rule Adoption/Amendment Forms, or appendixes.
2) Each agency is urged to send a representative of their technical staff who has responsibility for installation of the RAS software.
3) Authorized Contacts.
4) Anyone interested in rule filing.
